Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you use the Labees website (labees.qa) and the Labees mobile apps (together, "Labees"). Labees is operated by Labees for Digital Brokerage Platform W.L.L., a company registered in the State of Qatar under commercial registration no. 249301, with its head office in Doha, State of Qatar ("Labees", "we", "us"). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Labees.
1. What Labees is
Labees is an online marketplace where independent fashion designers and brands based in Qatar ("Designers") list and sell their products to customers. Each product is sold by the Designer shown on the product page. Labees runs the platform, collects payment on the Designer's behalf, arranges delivery and handles customer support.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or use Labees with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
- You must give accurate details, including a working email address and a Qatar mobile number, and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, are used for fraud, or abuse Designers, couriers or our team.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Delete account) or by contacting us. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
3. Products, prices and availability
- Designers are responsible for their product descriptions, photos, sizes and measurements. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the real item.
- All prices are in Qatari Riyals (QAR) and include any applicable taxes. The delivery fee is shown separately at checkout before you pay.
- If a price changes while an item is in your bag, we show you the new price before you pay. The price charged is the one shown when you complete payment.
- If we discover an obvious pricing error after you pay, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
4. Made-to-order items
Some items are made specifically for you using the measurements you enter. Please check them carefully before you pay. Made-to-order items are not refundable, cannot be cancelled once the Designer has started making them, and cannot be returned or exchanged. If the Designer did not follow the measurements you entered, or the piece is faulty, the Designer will alter or remake it at no cost to you; if that is not possible within 14 days, you receive a full refund. Full details are in our Delivery & Returns Policy. Made-to-order items take longer to prepare than ready-made items.
5. Placing an order and payment
- Payment is by debit or credit card through our licensed payment partner's secure payment page. Labees never sees or stores your full card number.
- Your order is placed once your payment is confirmed. If your bag contains items from more than one Designer, you pay once and we create a separate order for each Designer.
- Each Designer reviews and accepts its order. If a Designer cannot fulfil an order, it is cancelled and you receive a full refund, including the delivery fee, to the card you paid with.
- Coupon codes are issued by Designers or by Labees, are subject to their own conditions (such as minimum spend, expiry and usage limits), have no cash value and cannot be combined unless stated.
6. Delivery, cancellations and returns
Delivery is available within Qatar. Our Delivery & Returns Policy explains delivery, how to cancel an order and what to do if something is wrong with it. It forms part of these terms.
7. Reviews and content you share
- You can review products you have bought and received. Reviews must be honest and must not be offensive, misleading, or contain personal information about others.
- By posting a review or uploading photos (for example, in a support request) you allow Labees to use, display and store them for running Labees.
- We may remove content that breaks these terms.
8. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Labees, including by attempting to access other people's accounts or data, interfering with the platform's security or operation, scraping it with automated tools, placing fraudulent orders, or using it for anything unlawful.
9. Intellectual property
The Labees name, logo, website and app design belong to Labees. Product photos, designs and descriptions belong to the Designers. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
10. Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the laws of Qatar, including Law No. 8 of 2008 on Consumer Protection.
- We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for losses resulting from your breach of these terms.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here, with its effective date, applies to orders placed from that date. If we make important changes we will tell you in the app or by email.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute. Please contact us first — most problems can be solved quickly.
